The Westside Eclectic is the west side's hottest new comedy theater and creative community! Located on the 3rd Street Promenade, we offer a full calendar of classes and comedy shows almost every night. The Westside Eclectic began in 2006 as an improv school and live comedy venue in Los Angeles. Recently named by Variety as a top spot to scout talent in LA, we're committed to fostering a down-to-earth, supportive and professional environment for the talent we work with, and to also create opportunities for them to gain exposure and further their careers. Our improv and comedy classes are taught by some of the top performers in L.A., and most nights of the week we host stand-up, sketch, and improv shows featuring the best players in L.A.'s comedy scene. In addition to our theater, we are also the home base to The Independent Comedy Network, which is dedicated to producing, licensing and distributing high-quality comedy content for the internet and beyond.

We have an Advanced Stand Up Comedy starting October 8th! The Class is filling up quick, so sign up ASAP! Here is more info:

Advanced Stand Up with Kevin Garbee.
You have the fundamentals now it is time to take your comedy to the next level. In this intensive writing and performance workshop, you will participate in The Westside Eclectic weekly Open Mic and receive detailed feedback on your set, the rest of the class will be devoted to honing existing material, creating new material, and workshopping those bits onstage. At this level, it is all about stage time, and no other class in L.A. offers you more. And, of course, the class will culminate in a special showcase performance at The Westside Eclectic.
This class consists of six weeks and one student performance.
6 weeks plus student performance | $300 | Wednesdays from 6pm - 9pm on 10/08, 10/15, 10/22, 10/27, 11/05, 11/12
